Quaercetin Improves Renal Functional Disorder and Dyslipidemia Caused by Acute Cadmium Exposure

چکیده

Heavy metal toxicity and bioaccumulation caused severe damage to soil, water environment as a result of industrialization/urbanization activities in developing developed countries. This has affected different trophic levels including plants, animals humans become global concern. The use various phytonutrients such Quercetin (QE) increased recent years avoid by heavy metals. Among metals, cadmium (Cd) is major issue the Cd toxic that can kidneys cause dysregulation many lipid metabolic pathways. However, number studies on renal dysfunction dyslipidemia limited. We found causes dyslipidemia, QE ameliorates these Cd-induced damages. Our results showed urea, uric acid, creatnine, alkene phosphatase (ALP), total bilirubin (TBIL) compared control group, while improved other parameters except TBIL. In addition, our findings glyceride (TG), cholesterol (TC), low-density lipoprotein (LDL) lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) decreased high-density (HDL) levels. It was noted tended improve this picture. data presented here demonstrated clear protective role against function through its hypolipidemic antioxidative action.

Cystone, a well-known herbal formulation improves renal function in rats with acute renal failure (ARF) induced by Glycerol intoxication

The present study was aimed to evaluate the beneficial effect of Cystone syrup in an experimental model of glycerol-induced acute renal failure (ARF) in rats. Biochemical parameters, kidney weight and histopathological evaluation were performed to conclude the beneficial effect of Cystone syrup. Administration of single dose of 50% v/v glycerol (8ml/kg.i.m) caused severe renal dysfunction assoc...

Acute renal failure caused by nephrotoxins.

Renal micropuncture studies have greatly changed our views on the pathophysiology of acute renal failure caused by nephrotoxins. Formerly, this type of renal insufficiency was attributed to a direct effect of the nephrotoxins on tubule epithelial permeability. According to that theory, glomerular filtration was not greatly diminished, the filtrate formed being absorbed almost quantitatively and...

Acute renal failure caused by nontraumatic rhabdomyolysis.

Nontraumatic rhabdomyolysis may be associated with severe metabolic disturbances. In particular, previous literature has described a 8-20% incidence of acute renal failure in rhabdomyolysis. The aim of this study was to evaluate our experience on 11 patients with acute renal failure treated by high-efficiency daily hemodialysis.

Acute renal failure caused by unilateral renal artery thromboembolism.

Thromboembolic obstruction of major renal arteries is a rare but serious clinical problem. A diagnosis is not usually established until irreversible renal parenchymal damage occurs. Emboli to the major renal arteries are associated with cardiac diseases and arrhythmia, among which atrial fibrillation is a major cause. The clinical manifestations of renal artery thromboembolism vary substantiall...

Nimesulide and acute renal failure caused by oxalate precipitation.

Sir, Acute renal failure (ARF) seen with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) is mainly haemodynami-cally mediated due to inhibition of the synthesis of renal prostaglandins (PGs) w1x. Nimesulide is a new generation NSAID that differs from conventional NSAIDs in structure and pharmacological profile, claiming fewer side effects due to the specificity for the COX-2 enzyme w2x. We descr...
